Communities Unlocking Possibility and Power

In East Africa, and across the World.

IMAGINE : KUWAZA (formerly known as VICOBA Plus) is moving mindsets from “I Need” to “We Have”.

People have started re-imagining a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities. The knowledge sharing process sits somewhere between a practical MBA, community building, and life-coaching, and it’s distributed for free.

People don’t receive funding. Instead, trained facilitators work alongside communities to help them find their own solutions.

As a result, people are buying land, paying school fees, running successful businesses, supporting themselves in their later years, overcoming mental health challenges and loneliness, and flipping gender inequality.

So far, over 1,000 people in East Africa have changed their own lives.

People

Ugandan, David Clemy had a crazy idea: what if people were their own problem AND their own solution? He founded IMAGINE : KUWAZA (formerly VICOBA Plus) in 2014 to support communities into change, agency and out of poverty.
